Inputting codes
Product keys and security codes comprise of numbers and letters. The accurate inputting of the code
is essential; if you put the letter 'o' instead of the number '0' the code will not work. Likewise letters
are case sensitive and you need to ensure you do not use uppercase instead of lower case or visa
versa.
The safest way to enter a code is to copy and paste the code into the text box, ensuring there is no
extra spaces.

Security/Validation Codes
Once you have been using Bird Tick List for several months you may get a warning box appear on start up advising you that you need to obtain a security
code or validation code. Tick List Software uses this system to stop illegal distribution of the program. This code is different to your product key and you
will need to email Tick List Software using the correct form on the CONTACT US page of the website, it's near the bottom of the page. If you do not obtain
a code your program will eventually lock and you will no longer be able to use the program.
NOTE: When you request a security/validation code you will be asked for the email address used to purchase the software and your Product Key. If Bird
Tick List was a gift via a disc you will need to provide the email address used by the person who bought the software, you will also need to provide your
own email address so we can send you the code and not them!.

Product keys
Having installed Bird Tick List you will be able to use the program for a short while before you need to
enter a product key. A box will however eventually appear at start up asking for a USER KEY or
PRODUCT CODE. This code was supplied to you in the automatic email which contained your
download link. If you bought Bird Tick List by disc the code can be found in the READ ME FIRST
file on the disc.
Your product code is very important keep it in a safe place!
